Jo is a partner in Private Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, overseeing Global Healthcare Private Investing. She is also a lead investor for Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $1 billion investment strategy grounded in the firm's data-driven thesis that diverse teams drive strong returns. Jo serves on the Asset Management Corporate Investment Committee and the Asset Management Sustainable Investing Investment Committee. In addition, she serves on the Steering Committee for One Million Black Women, Goldman Sachs' $10 billion commitment to narrow opportunity gaps for Black women over the next decade, and the Americas Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Jo is co-head of the Americas Women's Network for Goldman Sachs. Previously, Jo worked in the Consumer Retail and Healthcare Group in the Investment Banking Division, responsible for coverage of large, multinational companies across the healthcare and consumer sectors. She joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as a vice president and was named managing director in 2008 and partner in 2012. Jo currently serves on the corporate boards of Parexel, MyEyeDr., Mirion and MDVIP and has previously served on the boards of Flywire, Avantor and MedVet. She also serves on the board of Safe Horizon, the largest nonprofit in the US dedicated to victim assistance in domestic violence cases, and on the Board of Trustees and Finance and Investing committees for the Ethical Culture Fieldston School. Jo earned a BA in Economics and Biology from the University of Virginia.
