Embracing Career Women at the First Annual Exponent Women Exchange,  July 2018, NEW YORK CITY – Exponent Women, an organization dedicated to raising women dealmakers to a new power, successfully held their first annual Marquee Exponent Exchange event on this summer at SECOND in New York City. The event brought together a trusted network of professional women for a focused day of robust content and networking.

The Annual Exchange, which was sold out at 200 attendees, served to provide businesswomen with the opportunity to establish new connections, reinforce existing ones, and absorb timely and relevant knowledge from industry leaders.

“This event was created by a group of like-minded women that believe deal making is not a point in time but a journey shared by women across asset classes, levels of seniority, and functional areas,” said Michelle Vanhellemont, a Founding Member of Exponent Women and Managing Director at Accordion.

The event opened with a profound keynote speaker from Ellevest co-founder and CEO Sallie Krawcheck, followed by panels comprised of established women offering insights on various key aspects of deal making. Plentiful breaks and both public and private spaces, allowed for overt collaboration as networking is one of the main goals of Exponent.
